Health & Fitness Tip}>Train for Gain - Always aim for improvement!
Martial Arts training is filled with many values and benefits for people
of all ages and stages. From the mental aspects of greater confidence
and concentration, to the physical benefits of improved flexibility, higher
energy level, greater endurance, strength and muscle tone.
Not to mention stress relief and having a lot of fun. The Martial Arts is
absolutely one of the best things you could ever do for yourself and/or
your loved ones.
This tip focuses on the theory of "Train for Gain."
Always aim for improvement in all of the above areas and more. In other
words, strive to improve your confidence and concentration. Don't accept
your initial benefits and be satisfied with a little improvement.
Keep striving for more and you'll see continued growth and improvements.
Always aim for improvements in your physical fitness, flexibility, strength
and endurance. You can and will get better if you train for gain. Sometimes
you'll see better gains than others and you may even suffer an occasional
setback. That's OKAY. It's part of the process of self improvement.
Also known as the "Ratchet Effect."
Three steps forward, one step back...is still positive gain.
Always aim for improvements in your mental growth. Knowledge, skill
development and your ability to stay focused on your objectives and to
be able to reach the next set of goals you have for yourself.
